AIS Boropane: Monolithic Fire resistant safety glass

One of the largest hazards to our safety is fire, and it’s crucial to take precautions to contain it, warn occupants, and prepare for emergency situations. Presenting AIS Boropane Glass- a monolithic, fire-resistant safety glass that remains transparent in the event of fire. Boron Trioxide is a 15% component in the glass that helps to provide these superior features.

E CLASS – INTEGRITY They provide for only integrity. These are special tempered glasses and they prevent the spread of flames to the non-fire side. There will be no protection from radiation in this type of glasses. They are normally used for internal applications.

AIS Pyrobel, a special Fire resistant glass, is a laminated glass range with an intumescent layer. This glass is specially engineered to withstand extreme heat levels and restrict its transfer. This glass solution can be used in place of a brick wall while providing transparency and fire resistance.
Apart from helping to prevent the spread of fire and smoke, fireproof glass can prevent radiation from spreading from one area to another, making it a good option for research and development facilities. Also, due to its versatility, you can use fireproof glass with aluminium, wooden, and steel frames without compromising the features.
Following are the types of fire resistant glasses available with AIS: 1) E Class – Integrity: This particular glass type helps prevent the spread of flames to the unaffected side. 2) EW Class – Integrity and Low radiation: This type of glass is tempered and laminated and can be used for various internal and external applications. It prevents the flame from entering the unaffected side and helps control the radiation. 3) EI Class- Integrity and Insulation: This type of glass provides integrity and insulation. With this glass, the maximum temperature on the unaffected side will not exceed an average of 140 degrees Celsius.
