Unwieldy metal antennae can be quite an eyesore on a well-designed car. Glass antennae are printed patterns of conductive material on glass, accompanied by electric devices that send and receive signals. The inductive and resistive properties associated with the printed pattern can be adjusted to make the wireless signals resonate with the receiver in the desired bandwidth (FM / AM).
