FACTORIES OF FUTURE- AIS AUTO MANUFACTURING PLANT AT PATAN
The AIS Greenfield Project — the project has been registered with IGBC under IGBC Green Factory Rating System. The AIS Greenfield Project — mainly comprising of large spaces for manufacturing, storage, and transportation of the glass — is aiming for IGBC Green Factory Building Rating and LEED v4 BD+C Gold. A study at the above facility was carried out to understand the efficacy of using glass façades in Green Buildings. This helped the AIS project team understand the effect of glass on energy consumption and daylighting— reinforcing AIS’ vision for a green future.
